I wish someone would have told me that the Book Of Mormon was worth reading before my mission smh. No I'm kidding, many people (especially father) have made that clear in my life. I just didn't listen I guess. Oh well you win some you lose some. No but like fr its great. 3 Nephi especially. I can just tell this book is so true when I read about Jesus coming to America. Either 3rd grade educated Joseph Smith was the most genius and successful con man of all time or he was a true prophet. And I choose the second one. Alright enough spirituality let me tell you what happened this week. - Monday was my pday and it was soooooo good to talk to my family. That day at lunch it was impossible to get my food because there were upwards of 200,000 missionaries in the cafeteria at once and everyone butts the line, but me being the christlike soul I am just sat in line for like an hour. Eventually I received revelation that I needed to butt the line so I did then felt bad :/ - Then I did...

Ok before I talk about my week you just gotta trust me here. I just read the last 3 chapters of 3rd Nephi Like 2 hours ago for the first time, and juuuuuuuudas it is incredible. If you're not my dad (who I guarantee is loving that last sentence) I know what you're thinking right now: goodness I don't want to hear this guy's spiritual thoughts and accept his challenges. I know what you're thinking because that is what I think everytime I read someone's missionary email. Just consider it, it was so cool. The BOM is so necessary and pairs so well with the bible, and I am just exhilarated that Jesus Christ came to the americas. But anyways here is what happened this week - On Monday and Tuesday I did my final teachings unto my family just like Christ did to his disciples before he was sold by judas. Just kidding, we went to snowbird and did the alpine slide and ate a bunch of good food. It was a good way to end my time at home MTC. I actually really like home MTC ...

Oh my goodness I love the beautiful language of English. I have taken it for granted for far too long. I solemnly swear from now on every time I speak a word of English I will be grateful for it. The appreciation I have found found for this language has all stemmed from home MTC. Ladies and Gentlemen the entire thing is in Chinese. Like the whole thing. On the first call we had I didn't pick up a dang thing, but now I am kinda catching on. My experience with this language could only be explained by one man, and that man is Bear Grills: "survival can be summed up in three words - never give up." I can't wait to go to the actually MTC but I can wait to say goodbye to my family and friends. That is going to be quite sad.
