Howdy everyone! I hope yall's Christmas was glorious and that you felt a lot of love just like I did! "whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also" I have heard that verse many times in my life and I've always been like "oh cool ya I can do that." I don't think I've really ever truly had to do that until this week. It is a very painful thing to be smitten. When it happens all you want to do is get revenge and make that person feel the pain that you felt and smite them back, the last thing that you feel you want to do is turn to them your other cheek. In life we have all been the smitten or the one who is doing the smiting. Sometimes in life we will be in a situation where someone smites us, so we smite them back, and back and forth over and over again. After a while you become numb and you stop feeling the pain of the smite, and your soul begins to take the pain of it. I think that is the problem with the world today....

Glory glory hallelujah what a week everyone, what a dang week. Prayers up for my brother Mckay he has fallen ill and my bet is that he gets sent home sadly, what a shame. But ya I love everyone and my week was legendary. Howdy all of my loved ones! What is up everyone! I love you all and hope it was a remarkable Thanksgiving for you! My week was once again elite, I learned a lot and that was neat. If you still read these you are so real and I double love you. I love Thomas S Monson and the example he sets for me. One of my favorite stories about him is how he would give the shirts off his own back to people in need. They would be like "Oh no! I cannot take your shirt President Monson" and he would be like "oh this one is worn out, I was about to throw it out anyways" and he would go ahead and give away his shirt. Many people who saw him do this would say "the shirts looked pretty new to me."
