WEEK 94 - doTERRA Dragon

What is up everyone, I had a lot of great things happen this week and I hope you did too! "Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit." Bars. The branch that does not bear fruit is taken away, and the branch that bears fruit is purged. Notice both experience hard things, but one experiences hard things but for a different reason. When it uses the word "purge" in the scriptures it means to purify or cleanse something. That is a very difficult process, maybe even more difficult than being taken away. But the difference is that those who are purged will one day bring forth more fruit. So for anyone reading this who feels as if they are being purged right now, know that I believe that one day you and I will both be cleansed, and "purified even as He is pure." Quick shoutout to brother Mckay, he comes home this Wednesday from his mission. Literally no one th...

WEEK 93 - Mulan?

Howdy everyone, I hope you had a great week! I have finally reunited with my beloved Chinese branch so it's been super fun seeing everyone again! Welp wouldn't ya know it I spent all of my spiritual thought writing time in a lego store, my condolences. But this is a scripture I really like: "Therefore, blessed are they who humble themselves without being compelled to be humble" Throughout my mission I have been humbled time and time again and I am always in awe with those who just choose it. It is such a valuable Christlike attribute. Those who are humble spend much less time thinking about themselves, and much more time finding joy in the success of others. During this final grind of the mish I wanna learn how to develop that. So ya like I said I am in the Chinese branch now and my comp is Elder Romney. Elder Romney is lit, he is super hard working and obedient, knows quite a bit less about Japanese cars than me, loves model trains, and he used to be fat. I am a ...

Hello everyone, I hope you've had a great week! I love my Mom so much and I am so grateful for her! Frankly, I love and appreciate all moms out there especially since moms make up about 85% of my email readers. Thank you to all moms I am QUITE fond of this video you should watch it: https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/video/inspirational-messages/2021-01-0010-your-great-adventure-overcoming-lifes-obstacles-1080p?lang=eng Heavens, life is just full of so many blessings and so many challenges. The video depicts it so well, this guy decides to run an ultramarathon in the desert and he gets hyped because he feels as if he can actually do this ultramarathon. So he keeps training and improving until one day it all kinda crashes down. He gets to this one point in the middle of the desert and straight up just gives up. Except plot twist, he actually didn't give up and he finds motivation from the example of his dad and he looks out at the vast desert in front of him, and sta...

WEEK 91 - I'm So Sorry Elder Walburger

Hello everyone! I hope you just had a marvelous week! Literally thank you so much for all of the birthday messages, that was beyond kind! I was overwhelmed with love all day long and it meant a lot to me. There was this story shared during conference that I loved: So pretty much this guy was a missionary a little while back, and while he was a missionary he accidentally hit a guy on a bike and killed him. He said "I have never felt more frightened and alone." I've never been in that exact situation, but I have had something similar to that happen to me with a much better ending. I remember how alone and destroyed I felt in that moment, so I know a little how this man might've felt. He continued the story by sharing how another missionary came and stayed in his jail cell with him, and how impactful that missionary's charitable act was to him. In my hard situation I remember my neighbors Pam Roberts and Lisa Packer showing me love that I was in dire need of. I r...
